Care instructions

The cutting board should be treated occasionally with linseed oil to maintain the wood and extend its durability. Linseed oil penetrates deep into the wood, protecting it from moisture and dirt and forming a protective barrier.

Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und die Versprechungen/Erwartungen wurden erfüllt! Soweit Top. Allerdings wurde in der Gebrauchsanweisung nicht erwähnt ob das Schneidebrett noch geölt werden sollte/muß. Zukünftig bitte erwähnen, Dankeschön.

End grain, also called cross-grain, is the wood cut from the cross-section of a tree where the annual rings are visible. It is particularly robust and durable because the fibers are not permanently damaged during cutting. End grain also has the ability to "heal" scratches by self-healing the fibers.
